MSN supports multiple email aliases, as let users create completely different email addresses which they can use to receive email in your primary account, without know of primary email address.

- On iPhone, go to “Settings” option and touch “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” option.
- Touch “Add Account” and then choose “Other” account and then “Add mail account”.
- In the Address field, enter the alias that you want to use and fill the other information, such as Name, Password and Description.
- Touch “Next” button.
- Ensure that IMAP is selected.
- Now, enter the following Incoming Mail Server information, such as:-
- Host Name: gmail.com
- User Name: your main MSN address (Outlook/Hotmail) address (not your alias).
- Password: your password
- Now, enter the following Outgoing Mail Server information, such as:-
- Host Name: gmail.com
- User Name: your main MSN address (Outlook/Hotmail) address (not your alias). (You must use a different server for your sent emails to show as from your alias. For Instance use Comcast outgoing server information or other as per your choice)
- Password: your password
- Hit “Next” and then “Save” button.
- After the above steps completion, you can send emails from your alias.
- However, along with this recently set up account, you’re not able to send emails from your main MSN address. If you want this, then you have to follow the next procedure.
- First, go to “Notes” app.
- In a new (or existing) note, you have to type a comma, leave a space and then enter your main email address, for Example “Your Name@MSN.com”. Or if you have more aliases, then you can add those too.
- Then copy the text string. Then, return to “Settings”, then tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and then hit the account those you just added.
- Tap “Account”.
- In the IMAP Account Information section, put the curser at the end of the Address field and Paste.
- Then, hit the “Done”.
- Now you can send emails from your alias or main address.
